How It Works
Switch to Auto Convert mode (Cmd/Ctrl+3) and PicSquish starts watching for new images. Every image you drop converts automatically with your chosen format, quality, and output folder.
Set your preferences
Choose your output format, quality, resize settings, and destination folder.
Switch to Auto Convert
Press Cmd/Ctrl+3 or select it from the mode menu.
Drop images
Drag and drop onto the app window.
They just convert
Each image processes automatically and saves to your output folder.
Key Details
Queue-based processing
Drop more images whilst a batch is running and they queue automatically. Everything processes in order.
Per-image status
Each image shows its current state: pending, processing, complete, or failed. If something goes wrong with one image, the rest keep going.
Persistent output folder
PicSquish remembers your chosen output folder across sessions using security-scoped bookmarks. Set it once, forget about it.
Full settings support
Auto Convert respects all your conversion settings: format, quality tier, resize, metadata handling, crop, colour adjustments, LUTs, and watermarks.
